Special Meeting – March 4, 2011 @ 7:00 pm
Blood Root Restaurant, Bridgeport, CT
Present: Commissioners Cramer, Germain, Henderson & Gaudet-Wilson

The meeting convened at 7:15 pm.

There was a discussion of the Fairfield Hills Master Plan Review Committee (FFHMP) process. Sub-committee members agreed to attend future meetings of the FFHMP meetings, emphasize the importance of maintaining as much open space as possible at Fairfield Hills, and stay closely in touch with the FFHMP Committee members, especially Deborra Zukowski who is our liaison from their open space subcommittee.
There was discussion of the designation by CT’s DEP of 2011 as “The Year of the Turtle” addressing public education about the plight and ecological importance of turtles.
